CRONK RAIL A HUGE HIT AT MOUNTAIN HIGH

Wrightwood, CA – November 28, 2007: The Cronk Rail, designed by pro-rider Cory Cronk and the Faultline Terrain Crew, has seen great success at Mountain High. Dual jibs surrounding a simulated staircase combine the raw elements of street riding with the consistency of a terrain park creating a new focal point for urban riders. At 12 feet wide the Cronk Rail is one of the biggest on the hill and features a single bar on one side, a down ledge box on the other, and a wide lexan slide covering faux stairs in the middle. Located in the famous Playground, it can be viewed from the parking lot and is a dominant feature thanks to the graphic work of Steve Lopez, renowned urban graffiti artist.

Says Cory Cronk, “It looks scary but it slides well. Southern California, you have been Cronked!”

The Cronk Rail is the next stage of evolution for Mountain High. Over the past several years the Faultline crew has unveiled numerous jibs that push the envelope of construction and design. The C-Bow, the Giant Rainbow, the Richter Scale, and the enormous Wall Ride are but a few. But the Cronk Rail goes one step further. In addition to the urban look and feel, the Cronk Rail incorporates new technology that allow a single operator to move it despite its enormous size and weight. At this level, style, function, safety, and design are crucial to innovative park features, and the new Cronk Rail sets the bar very high.
