Wrightwood, CA – December 31, 2007: Mountain High announces 2 for 1 Wednesdays, a 10 week promotion designed to give guests a break from the high cost of skiing and snowboarding. Wednesdays will be like never before with weekly events, live music, drink specials, celebrity radio remotes, vendor villages, plenty of giveaways and 2 for 1 ticket specials. The promotion begins January 9th, 2008, and continues every Wednesday through March 12th if not longer.
Says John McColly, Director of Marketing, “Wednesdays are going to be the day to be here this year. We’ll have celebrity ticket checkers, sponsored parties, tons of music and giveaways, and, of course, 2 for 1 lift tickets.”
It is no surprise that weekdays are the prime days to ski and snowboard. The conditions are better, the terrain features maintain their shape longer and, in some cases, you can have the whole mountain to yourself. But guests have a tough time breaking out of their weekend routines. So Mountain High developed 2 for 1 Wednesdays to show people how great midweek conditions really are. For 10 weeks, skiers and snowboarders can get two adult 8-Hour lift tickets (regularly $51.00 each) or 2 adult Night Tickets (regularly $30.00 each) for the price of one. Tickets must be pre-purchased online though at mthigh.com and are not available at the resort. Guests purchasing tickets from the ticket windows will continue to pay full price.
A full schedule of events is planned for each Wednesday including singles nights, movie premiers, gifts-with-purchase, tips-for-tricks and much more. Sponsored by Skinnie Entertainment Magazine and Skullcandy Headphones, 2 for 1 Wednesdays are sure to be the hot ticket when it comes to skiing and snowboarding this season. Skinnie is Southern California’s premier publication covering the biggest names in music, action sports and lifestyle. And Skullcandy will be in the house making sure that Wednesday nights are full of fresh beats from the industries top DJ's.
For a complete schedule of Wednesday’s events and activities, log onto mthigh.com. Tickets are not transferable. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other discount or promotion.
