Winter is here and El Nino is starting to take effect. Now through next Friday, the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration is predicting 17” of snowfall for Mountain High. A small storm system moves in Sunday and Monday leading to a larger storm Tuesday that has the potential to drop 11” in 24 hrs. This is just the beginning of the El Nino system which is expected to last through March and bring lots of cold wet storms our way. The previous El Nino of this magnitude in 1997/98 left us with over 300” of powder, so get those boards and skis ready. The season has just begun.
