Mountain High Ski & Snowboard Lessons

Mountain High is where Southern California learns to ski and snowboard.  We have one of the highest return rates in the country so you can learn with confidence.  Plus we offer brand new equipment from both Rossignol and Burton.

New for 2014/15, Mountain High offers “terrain-based” teaching zones.  Features such as camel humps, mini-halfpipes, banks, berms, and spines will have you feeling the natural movements of your skis or snowboard almost immediately.  And our certified PSIA and AASI instructors use the latest teaching techniques to get you cruising down the hill in style.

From reservations to rentals, we take the hassle out of learning and offer discount lesson packages for families, women-only, seniors, and more.  There are Terrain Park Group Lessons for those who want to get a “jump” on the park, and classic Beginner Packages for folks just getting started.  We even offer lessons on virtual simulators to give you that extra bit of confidence before hitting slopes.

Our Children’s Sports Center begins teaching at age 4, and we are proud to offer Burton LTR training equipment complete with balancing tools, Riglet towing accessories, and soft-flex boards with catch free edges.  Open daily from 8:45am to 3:15pm, this new Center is located at the West Resort upstairs next to the Bullwheel Grill. The newly-enlarged facility is complete with ticket windows, rental equipment, lessons, a sport shop and more. Save time by purchasing everything you need for the entire family at the Children’s Sports Center.

Lessons are available seven days-a-week at the West Resort and conditions permitting at the East Resort. If you plan to take a lesson, it is best to park at the same area. At the West Resort, students meet beneath the Bullwheel Grill and, at the East Resort, directly across from the ticket windows.  Lessons are offered on a first come, first served basis so we recommend arriving AT LEAST one hour prior to the lesson time.

Arrive Early At The Resort! The time you save by starting your day early will pay dividends later. Getting ahead of traffic, finding convenient parking, short lines at the ticket windows and rental shop will set you and your family up for a stress-free and fun time at the mountain. Once you have your lift tickets, lesson coupons and equipment, take the time to familiarize yourself with the resort! You will need to be at the Winter Sports School meeting area 15 minutes prior to the lesson starting time.
