Currently cancelled until conditions permit. Mountain High announces the return of Spring A Ma Jig, our annual spring break celebration with all your favorite events plus a few new ones thrown in. Sponsored by Snowboarder Magazine, Spring A Ma Jig is fun for the whole family with activities for all ages and abilities but ALL require a release of liability and parent's signature if under 18. Daily activities include Pond Skimming, the Big Ollie, Tug-O-War, and the Frozen T-Shirt Contest plus there are signature events each day such as Retro Fools, Contest, Easter Egg Hunt (weather pending), and the Miss Mountain High Bikini pageant. All events are free with paid admission. See below for a complete listing of events and activities. Daily Activities 11:00am Big Ollie – Snowboarders must “ollie” as high as they can in this heart pumping competition. The bar goes up after each round until only one rider remains. 12:00pm Tug O War – A new spin on an old favorite. This Tug of War takes place in the snow and the loosing team might end up in the pond. 2:00pm Frozen T-Shirt Contest – 10 t-shirts have been frozen in the icy tundra of Mountain High’s North Resort and the competitors must break them apart and put them on. First one to dawn their frozen shirt wins a goody bag filled with Mountain High swag. 3:00pm Pond Skimming – The quintessential event at any spring break. Skiers and snowboarders must cross a 50 foot pond filled with freezing cold water or suffer the consequences. Friday March 27, 2015 Retro Fools Day Wear your best 80s gear for a chance at terrific prizes. There will be a Dance Off, a vote for Best Dressed, and more. Saturday, March 28, 2015 Miss Mountain High Bikini Pageant Help us pick the new Miss Mountain High. The pageant is free to enter and all participants receive a FREE bikini from Fresh Peaches. Winner takes home a 2015/16 Season Pass, a bag full of goodies and is named next year’s Miss Mountain High. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Click here to download the registration form. Check-In takes place at the Mountain High tent on the West deck from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Competition kicks off at 1:00pm. Sunday, March 29, 2015 $5,000 Easter Egg Hunt (Weather Dependent) Please check the Snow Report before heading up Sunday, the resort will be open if the weekend storm system leaves us some more snow. Mountain High's annual Easter Egg Hunt returns with more than $5,000 in prizes including two 2015/16 season passes. There are two Hunts in all. The Adult Easter Egg Hunt begins at 8:30am and takes place throughout the West Resort. The guest who finds the golden egg wins an Adult Anytime Season Pass valued at $699. Other prizes include lift tickets, food discounts, retail discounts, and, of course, plenty of Easter candy. The Children’s Easter Egg Hunt begins at 10:00am at the Children’s Academy which is located at the top of the moving carpet, just below the Bullwheel Bar & Grill. The finder of this golden egg wins a 2015/16 Children’s Season Pass valued at $229. Both Hunts are free and open to anyone with a lift ticket or season pass.
