I woke up at the beach and within an hour and a half, I was on the snowy slopes of Mountain High. I couldn't believe that this winter wonderland exists--so close to Los Angeles! The resort has three mountains, 16 lifts and a tubing park. I found the lines to move fast, even over MLK Weekend, and the upper trails were not crowded at all. Conquest was my favorite lift because the view was so stunning! There were easy trails and a great area for beginners and families. Don't miss the Foggy Goggle for apres ski!
