DAY USE AREAS OPEN MAY 9TH
Numerous Day-Use sites are available for picnicking, hiking, sightseeing, and more. These include:
- Appletree
- Arch
- Jackson Lake
- Lake
- Mescal
- Peavine
The following Day-Use sites are temporary closed by Cal Trans, due to emergency road repair.
- Inspriation Point
- Vincent Gap

Parking
A Big Pines Parking Pass is required at all Day-Use sites managed by Mountain High under Forest Service Concessionaire permit. The Big Pines Parking Pass now replaces the Forest Service Adventure pass at all of our Day-Use areas and trailheads (Vincent Gap & Inspiration Point).
Pricing is similar at just $5 per day and $30 per season. Jackson Lake is $10 daily (or Annual Pass). Big Pines Parking Passes may be purchased at:

- Mountain Hardware
- Wrightwood Market
- Jackson Lake
