It’s SNOWVEMBER! The first snow of the season fell this morning at Mountain High Resort giving the area a crisp glow and solidifying the coming of winter. Traditionally Mountain High opens in Mid November but it all depends on the season. Three times in the past 10 years the Wrightwood Resort has opened in October. Mountain High’s 10 year average is November 16th. Click here to view the “First Snow” photo gallery.
Traditionally Mountain High is the first Southern California resort to operate and has been for the past 17 years. Guests who would like to receive an email or text notifying them of opening day should click http://www.mthigh.com/powder-alert or download the free Mountain High App for Android and iPhone.
Says John McColly, CMO, “Opening day is just around the corner and we’re looking forward to an exciting winter with new terrain features, increased snowmaking, and new terrain-based teaching programs.”
