Mountain High invites skiers and snowboarders to its annual Santa Sunday event on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year, the resort hopes to set a record with 1,000 Santas hitting the slopes in a single day while raising funds for Christmas Cheer All Year, a nonprofit supporting underprivileged children.
Participants who dress as Santa Claus and make a minimum $50 donation to Christmas Cheer All Year will receive a free lift ticket valued at $140.
"This is one of the most festive days of the year, and we can’t wait to see 1,000 Santas coming together for a great cause,” said John McColly, vice president of marketing and sales for Cali Pass Resorts.

Time: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Location: Mountain High, Wrightwood, Calif.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
• Make a donation of $50 or more to Christmas Cheer All Year.
• Bring your receipt to registration.
• Wear a full Santa suit, including a hat, beard, coat, belt, and pants. Mrs. Claus, Grinch, or
other holiday-themed costumes are welcome.
• Arrive early to register at the Guest Services booth.
SCHEDULE:
8 a.m: Registration opens. Bring your receipt, photo ID, and liability form.
9 a.m: Meet at the Snowflake chairlift for the first Santa Run.
10 a.m: Join the second Santa Run from the top of the mountain (intermediate terrain).
