Mountain High and Snow Valley have partnered up to give unprecedented value to skiers and snowboarders this winter.

Cold temperatures and recent snowfall will allow Mountain High to open for the 2015-2016 season on Friday, November 6. Mountain High invites skiers and snowboarders to take advantage of the cooler weather by kicking off the season on Cruiser trail and testing out tricks in the rail garden.

Temperatures just recently hit triple digits in Southern California, but there is a 100 percent chance of snow on Oct. 3 in Wrightwood, Calif. More than 60 tons of snow will be trucked into town for the 2015 Buck Off Rail Jam.

Says the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, "There is a greater than 90% chance that El Nino will continue though the winter of 2015/16, and around an 80% chance it will last into early spring."

More than a foot of new snow fell overnight at Mountain High and, after being closed for the better part of a week, the Wrightwood resort is reopening for skiing and snowboarding tomorrow (Tuesday) from 8:30am to 4pm.
