Invision Capital is a Private Equity firm based out of Chicago. It’s three resorts, Mountain High, Dodge Ridge, and China Peak, are stacked south-to-north along a 300-mile stretch of the Sierra and San Gabriel Mountains. Invision is now the third entity to own three or more ski areas in California, joining Vail Resorts’ three (Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar), and Alterra Mountain Company’s five (Mammoth, June, Palisades Tahoe, Big Bear, and Snow Summit).

The creation of the Cali Pass comes just 4 months after the purchase of China Peak from industry-veteran Tim Cohee. “We may not be finished,” Kapuscinski said confirming he and Invision would like to add more ski areas to the portfolio.
